December was a deep focus month for us at Braandly.
While some updates were immediately visible, much of the work this month was about strengthening the core of the platform so teams can manage brands with more confidence, clarity, and care in 2026 and beyond.
From powerful new brand tools to major accessibility improvements and under-the-hood upgrades, here’s what we shipped and why it matters.
Introducing Brand Guidelines: All in One Place

Brand guidelines shouldn’t live in scattered PDFs, outdated decks, or Notion pages no one updates.
That’s why we built Brand Guidelines directly into Braandly.
This new feature lets teams create, edit, and publish professional brand guideline documents using a flexible, block-based editor.
What you can do
- Build guidelines using 15 content block types (logos, colors, typography, imagery, voice, and more)
- Start faster with ready-made templates (Minimal, Professional, Creative, Comprehensive)
- Automatically pull in existing brand assets like logos, colors, and fonts
- Customize themes: spacing, typography scales, page padding, and colors
- Move through a clear workflow: Draft → Pending → Published
- Share guidelines publicly with short links
- Export as PDF, Brand Kits, or HTML
- Collaborate with role-based access at the workspace level
This feature is designed to make brand consistency easier—not stricter—and to help teams scale without losing identity.
Accessibility, Built In: Contrast Checker

Accessibility isn’t optional—it’s part of good brand design.
Our new Contrast Checker helps teams validate and improve color accessibility using WCAG standards, right inside Braandly.
Key capabilities
- Test contrast against AA and AAA standards (normal & large text)
- Instantly auto-adjust colors to meet the minimum 4.5:1 ratio
- Live preview with editable text
- Accessibility score (0–100) with compliance badges
- Shareable URLs for collaboration and reviews
- Integration with palettes and color tools
- Keyboard shortcuts and contrast history tracking
The goal is simple: make accessible design the default, not an afterthought.
Smarter Workflows with AI Assistance
We also rolled out AI-powered Code Review and PR Assistant workflows to improve how we ship at Braandly.
These workflows help:
- Catch issues earlier in PRs
- Improve review quality and consistency
- Maintain clearer coding standards across teams
Alongside this, we introduced new guides to keep our codebase clean, readable, and scalable as the product grows.
A Better Day-to-Day Experience
December included dozens of refinements across tasks, workspaces, and tools:
Task & Workspace Improvements
- Dynamic routing for tasks and projects
- Final-section handling for completed tasks
- Optimistic UI updates for priorities, tags, and statuses
- Clearer feedback for member removal and invitations
- Smoother onboarding and workspace syncing
Security, Performance & Stability
- Stronger OTP validation and rate limiting
- Proactive session refresh and cookie hardening
- Reduced unnecessary refetching for better performance
- Dependency upgrades across all apps
Many of these changes are subtle—but together they make Braandly faster, more reliable, and more pleasant to use every day.
Looking Ahead
This release was about laying strong foundations:
- Foundations for scalable brand documentation
- Foundations for accessible design
- Foundations for faster, safer development
In the coming months, we’ll build on this work with more collaboration features, deeper brand insights, and continued improvements to how teams create and manage brands on Braandly.
As always, thank you for building with us 💙
Your feedback continues to shape what we build next.
