April was one of our most well-rounded releases yet. From real-time infrastructure to brand discoverability, we shipped improvements across nearly every layer of the product.

Whether you manage a brand workspace solo or collaborate with a team, this update makes Braandly faster to navigate, clearer to use, and more visible to the world. Here’s a full look at what landed in v1.16.0.

Real-time Notifications Center

You no longer have to refresh to find out what’s happening in your workspace.

The new notifications center streams updates the moment they occur. It reflects live connection status, marks items as read when you open them, and links directly to the relevant document, task, or page. Brand reviews, task updates, access requests — everything surfaces in real time, without the manual refresh.

Document Access Requests and Denial Notifications

Collaborating on documents you don’t own is now far less frustrating.

You can request access to any document through a dedicated modal. Owners review pending requests from a panel and approve or deny in a single action. If your request is denied, you get a notification immediately so you always know the next step.

No more silent dead ends. No more wondering if your request was even seen.

Project Search and Filtering

Finding the right workspace in a growing project list used to mean scrolling through everything. Now you can filter projects by name and jump straight to where you need to be.

Simple change. Real time saved.

Smarter Subscription Plan Changes

Upgrades and downgrades are now handled with proper intelligence:

  • The platform classifies the change automatically, so the right confirmation email always goes out
  • Renewal reminders notify you before the next charge so there are no billing surprises
  • If a charge fails, the subscription is flagged as past due and recovery flows kick in with a clear path back to full access

Billing should be transparent and predictable. This update gets it closer to that.

Blog Claps, Author Pages, and RSS

Three additions that make the Braandly blog more useful for readers and creators alike.

Claps let readers show appreciation for posts. Counts update instantly through optimistic feedback and aggregate across all readers, giving writers a real signal on what resonates.

Author and Tag Pages create new entry points into the blog. Browse every post by a specific author or explore everything under a topic, directly from a dedicated landing page.

RSS Feed is now live. Subscribe and posts come to you directly in your reader of choice.

When you share a Brink page or a Braandly short link on social media, it now renders as a proper preview card rather than a plain, unformatted URL.

Brink pages generate Open Graph preview images automatically, pulling from the creator’s profile and styling. Short links resolve with full metadata. Both mean your shared links look intentional everywhere they land.

SEO and Discoverability Improvements

This was the biggest infrastructure investment of the month. Braandly is a platform used by brand builders who need to be found — so we focused on making sure the product itself helps them get there.

Here’s what shipped:

  • Dynamic site metadata across key pages for more accurate search indexing
  • Public sitemaps for Braandly catalogs and Brink pages so search engines can discover the full range of public resources
  • Blog sitemap and robots configuration so new posts get indexed faster
  • Canonical URL resolution for Brink pages across environments, keeping production and preview metadata consistent
  • Character-count validation on titles and descriptions to prevent truncation in search results
  • Default Open Graph assets bundled so every page produces a polished social preview, even without custom imagery
  • Locale-aware dates that render in the user’s local format across the workspace
  • HTML entity decoding for blog titles and excerpts so special characters display correctly everywhere
  • PWA manifest and unified site navigation graph for richer search engine context

Taken together, this is the most thorough SEO infrastructure work Braandly has shipped in a single release.

Authentication and Security

  • One-time password verification now required for sensitive actions like password reset and account deletion
  • Transactional email links always point to the secure version of the site
  • Editor links open in a new tab with safer defaults for external destinations
  • Improved redirect and short link handling to guard against unsafe destinations
  • Smarter post-login routing that lands users in the correct workspace and resolves shared task links properly
  • Blog framework security patches picked up from upstream to protect readers

Performance and Interface

  • Refreshed transactional emails across every template, rewritten for consistent voice and clearer calls to action
  • Cached public sitemaps for fast, reliable indexing across catalog pages
  • Short link preview caching so social platforms get a quick, stable response on first hit
  • Graceful real-time degradation so the app stays responsive even when downstream services are slow
  • Font loading and cache tuning for faster first paint across the workspace
  • Installable Brink pages with high-resolution icons and a web manifest, so pages can be pinned to home screens
  • Smoother sidebar scrolling for long document and task lists
  • Friendlier empty and error states with clearer copy and illustrations so dead ends feel less abrupt

Why This Matters

Brand chaos doesn’t just happen inside a workspace. It happens when your links look broken on social media, when a collaborator can’t access the document they need, and when nobody knows the status of a subscription or a review.

April’s update addresses all of that. Better access controls, real-time visibility, smarter billing flows, and a stronger SEO foundation: it all adds up to a workspace that works harder for the brands built inside it.

And we’re just getting started.

Brand chaos ends here.
